Dr Charlotte Herman grew up in Munich, Germany. Bilingual by birth, she is fluent in French and German. She is also fluent in English, with a certified level of C1.

Between 2017 and 2018, she trained in English at Seattle Central College. In 2018, she began her studies in Veterinary Medicine at the "Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB)", and graduated from the "Université de Liège (ULG)" in 2024. During her training, she completed several internships:

six months at the Small Animal University Veterinary Clinic in Liège
six weeks in a private practice in Liège
eight weeks at the Small Animal Veterinary Clinic in Oberhaching, near Munich.

Her areas of interest include medical imaging (ultrasound and radiography), internal medicine and dermatology.
